Livia Firth Attends 2012 Oscars Wearing Valentino Gown

It’s not fair how men can get away with recycling clothes without anyone noticing — well, except for FC’s eagle eye.

Livia Firth joined her husband Colin Firth, on the red carpet for the 2012 Oscars, held in LA yesterday evening.

She wore a custom-made Valentino lace wedding dress gown.

Had that been smoothed out, I think this would’ve been one of my favourites.

A Valentino Garavani clutch completed her lace wedding dresses look.

Colin Firth recycled his Tom Ford wool tuxedo in which he won his ‘Best Actor’ award at last year’s ceremony for ‘The King’s Speech.’

Rachel Bilson Attends Chanel and Charles Finch Pre-Oscar Dinner Wearing Chanel Dress

The jacket is killing me, seriously Rachel why on Earth did you pair that beautiful dress with something so drab? I hope there’s a photo of her with the jacket off because my eyes are literally hurting.

Rachel Bilson was of course at the Chanel and Charles Finch Pre-Oscar Dinner on Saturday evening with fellow Chanel ‘Les Fidèles’, Diane Kruger.

She opted to wear a Chanel Spring 2012 silver lace wedding dress with metallic floral appliqués round the neckline and along the hem.

The actress teamed her feminine frock with a black suede biker jacket for a slightly edgy look that not many aside from Leigh Lezark, Alexa Chung and Leigh Lezark can pull off in Chanel.

A black sequined Chanel bag, metallic silver Brian Atwood ‘Martina’ ankle strap peep-toes and purposely messy waves completed her lace wedding dresses look.

The hair bothers me a lot more than the jacket, which I find fine.

I imagine that it was at least relatively cold and that she wore this jacket (obviously some thought went into it, but still, it served the same purpose), literally just chucked it on, and took it off inside, in which case teh rest of her outfit would have worked beautifully together. Freida Pinto Attends Chanel and Charles Finch Pre-Oscar Dinner Wearing Chanel Dress

Love this look, the waistband would have been nice with it but I don’t think it kills the lace wedding dresses look to be without it.

Freida Pinto arrived at the pre-Oscar dinner party hosted by Chanel and Charles Finch on Saturday night in California with British boyfriend Dev Patel.

She looked gorgeous wearing a Chanel Spring 2012 strapless lace wedding dress.

Her pale yellow dress with light sequin detailing and seashell motifs on the pockets was styled with matching accessories.

They included a matching satin clutch, satin and python Roger Vivier sandals and a Chanel Matelassee pearl and diamond cuff bracelet and a pearl and diamond statement bracelet by Chanel.

Glossy lips and sleek tresses completed her look.

The only thing I’m missing is the pearl waistband.

The fit is too tight in the bust area and the sandals are too rough for this look, elegant strappy sandals would’ve been a much better choice, and the pearl waistband would’be been a nice accent, agree. For more information pls go to Ubrides.

Maria Sharapova Attends 2012 Vanity Fair Oscar Party Wearing Alexander McQueen Dress

Maria Sharapova looks like a wood nymph, and not in a good way. The proportions are just not right. Her lower half lace wedding dresses looks freakishly long.

Perhaps Maria Sharapova should stay off the red carpet and stick to the tennis courts.

The tennis pro attended the 2012 Vanity Fair Oscar Party in West Hollywood last night, mingling with Hollywood’s biggest stars.

It pains me to say this, but Maria was my least favourite of the night in Alexander McQueen lace wedding dress.

This Spring 2012 short and frilly frock just looks misplaced on Maria’s muscular frame.

Someone much more petite and dainty is needed to pull off the micro-mini hemline and all that frou frou.

Alexander McQueen horn heel platforms, an Alexander McQueen bejeweled Swarovski crystal clutch with skull clasp accessorized her look, along with Dena Kemp earrings, a David Yurman square ring, and head piece by Jennifer Behr.

Viola Davis Attends 2012 Oscars Wearing Vera Wang Gown

I’m not sure i like this color on her, which kind of disapoints me a bit. She does look good still, but I expected better.

Viola Davis added a pop of colour on the red carpet for the 2012 Oscars, held in LA tonight.

The ‘Best Actress’ nominee wore a vibrant emerald green Vera Wang lace wedding dress gown.

Her custom Vera Wang corseted lace wedding dresses gown with a floral crystal appliqué bustline, cascading ruffles and a pleated accordion skirt was teamed with silver accessories.

Perhaps my favourite part of this entire look is Viola’s choice to rock her natural hair plus the fact that the twins are under control on this occasion.

Other than the color, the dress doesn’t wow me. Still trying to figure out what is going on toward the botrom of the dress. Mixed feelings about the new hair color although I still love her natural hair. For more information pls go to Ubrides.

Rooney Mara Attends 2012 Oscars Wearing Givenchy Couture Gown

She looks really nice. It’s weird that she can basically wear the same thing over and over again, but still doesn’t bore me.

Rooney Mara’s signature red carpet lace wedding dress look came full circle tonight at the 2012 Oscars, held in LA.

You may remember Rooney’s first big red carpet moment at the world premiere of ‘The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo’ in London, was a structured, white Givenchy Couture gown.

Countless premieres and red carpet appearances later, Rooney celebrates her ‘Best Actress’ nominee in another structured, white Givenchy Couture gown this time from the Spring 2009 lace wedding dresses collection.

It was widely guessed that Rooney would don Givenchy Couture for her big night, particularly in white or black, and she didn’t let us down.

While it may not be a surprise, Rooney still looks stunning.

You have to give the young actress credit for staying true to her signature style, and doing it so well.

Blunt bangs, Fred Leighton jewels and a red lippie finish the look.

Olivia Munn Attends ‘Vanities’ 20th Anniversary Party Wearing Lela Rose Dress

I am so ready for spring. And I am loving easy breezy lace wedding dress like this which show off a small waist (or create one) and swirl when one dances a two-step or cha-cha. Relaxed yet still lady-like. Love.

Olivia Munn looked ready for spring at Monday night ‘Vanities’ 20th anniversary party in Hollywood, California.

The actress, who appears on the first page of the ‘Vanities’ section featured in this month’s Vanity Fair, wore a Lela Rose Spring 2012 dres.

A cream v-neck dress with a watercolour floral print is a flirty addition to the lace wedding dresses red carpet.

Whilst Olivia’s gold clutch matches her gold metallic Christian Louboutin ‘Un Palace’ sandals, I would have preferred something more like the seafoam green colour seen on the runway.

I actually quite like this on her. I find Olivia very hit and miss, but I generally find her more ladyliek looks a bit mroe appealing, althoughI wish that she would try to be a bit more youthful. For more information pls go to Ubrides.

Jessica Chastain Attends 2011 National Board Of Review Awards Gala Wearing Lyn Devon Dress

Why did she have to “minimally accessorise” this shiny silver dress with those jeweled sandals, awful shoe choice. This lace wedding dress look isn`t working – too much sparkle, not enough substance – this look screams for a contrasting colour accessory as her hair (even if she is a redhead) just not strong enough to provide that standout touch. The dress itself doesn`t work on her figure, gives her a very unflattering shape. Not a good look for her.

Jessica Chastain was also in attendance at the 2011 National Board of Review Awards gala on Tuesday evening.

She wore a silver Lyn Devon Spring 2012 lace wedding dresses with a classic A-line shape. The dress was minimally accessorized with a pair of jeweled silver Jimmy Choo ‘Linda’ sandals.

With straight locks, barely-there makeup and Harry Winston jewelry, this look is slghtly washed out.

Jessica could take a cue from her ‘The Help’ co-star, and fellow redhead, and add a bold lip colour to enhance her overall look.

She needs a new stylist, badly. Everything she wears is just so ‘meh’. Jessica could do so, so much better.

Both Danielle Lineker & Michelle Williams Wore Victoria, Victoria Beckham Dress

This dress would be pretty on a child, but it looks far too immature on an adult. A misguided attempt at whimsy. Fail x 4 on the model, Danielle, Michelle and the designer Victoria.

It was actually Danielle Lineker who was the first to wear this rain cloud print Victoria, Victoria Beckham Spring 2012 lace wedding dress whilst out on a dinner date with husband Gary Lineker late last month.

Thankfully, Danielle Lineker has an extensive shoe closet, because she opted for complementary pale green pumps.

Michelle Williams wore the same dress to the 2012 Academy Awards nominations luncheon which was held at the Beverly Hilton hotel in California two weeks ago.

The ‘My Week With Marilyn’ actress unfortunately teamed her lace wedding dresses with uninspiring black pumps.

Jessica Chastain Attends 2012 BAFTA Awards Wearing Oscar de la Renta Dress

I’m not a fan of the plunging neckline but other than that this is a fabulous lace wedding dress look for Jessica! I love the rich, pleated fabric and silvery-gold color, which goes perfectly with her gorgeous old-Hollywood-style hair. This is the best she’s looked in a while! Hopefully she keeps it up for the Oscars!

Despite the Fall 2011 trend of long-sleeved gowns, our red carpet favourites like Jessica Chastain braved the cold in London tonight wearing sleeveless gowns on the red carpet for the 2012 BAFTA Awards.

Jessica wore an Oscar de la Renta Pre-Fall 2012 lace wedding dresses gown.

Her pleated lamé mousseline gown with a plunging neckline was styled with a gorgeous diamond-encrusted necklace and embellished platform shoes.

The ‘can’t-clutch, won’t clutch’ actress styled her hair into loose waves and added a orangey-red lip colour to complete her look.

I haven’t seen the live pictures, but I can imagine that the pictures aren’t doing her justice as she appeared washed out in some and radiant in others.

I love this look. Her stlye(ist) is so hit and miss that I am getting increasingly worried for the oscars, but this is a great look. Her hair is beautiful and I am going ot go with she looks greeat & the other photos is the fault of the photographer’s glare, although a silver dress on a super pale girl is a risk.
